Passage Façade
A new facade facing and embracing the complexity of the site is added. An additional promenade is created that adapts to the slinking slope, by adding various levels and thicknesses. The promenade defines the facade by enclosing and intersecting with it, while the promenade is supporting on and overlapping with the facade in a game of conflict and cooperation. A message to the passengers, of any passing passage, tries to trigger their curiosity in many ways. A simple gesture embodies a framework for the formerly inaccessible waste land. What was a space referred to as a no man’s land, will become a place as a landmark. Without defining the greenery itself, the green becomes defined by a known facade and an unknown passage.
