Met de start van het nieuwe academiejaar in het vooruitzicht, blikken we graag even terug op één van de eerste stappen die hebben geleid tot het oprichten van IA MATTERS.
Vorig academiejaar maakten we met 168 (!) studenten 2IA en 3IA een studietrip naar Barcelona. Naast het macro-programma waarbij we o.a. het oeuvre van Antoni Gaudí bezochten, hadden we ook de kans om met kleinere groepjes studenten bezoeken te brengen aan een aantal lokale – doch internationale – bureaus. Zo hadden studenten de kans om o.a. binnen te kijken in de interne keuken van ontwerpbureau Lievore Altherr Molina en van EMBT Architects.
Een ware reeks van bijzondere en persoonlijke ontmoetingen.

While we await the start of the new academic year 2013-2014, we would like to retrace one of the first steps, which have inspired us to create the IA MATTERS project.
Last year we organized a study trip to Barcelona with 168 (!) students of 2IA and 3IA . Next to the macro-program, which brought us to enjoy the work of Antoni Gaudí among others, smaller groups of students had the opportunity to pay visits to some interesting local, though internationally acknowledged, offices.
During our trip we were received by industrial designers Lievore Altherr Molina, and by EMBT Architects, a.o.
A true series of very special and personal encounters.
