This study is about the establishment of third places in underused buildings from the post-war period, such buildings that are referred to as young heritage. These post-war buildings are currently neglected in debates about building, preferably demolished and not re-used in the interest of future generations. Both ecologically and economically, demolition is unsustainable. How can we protect these young heritages and historical witnesses and actively use the building fabric again?
