Enrico Pavone ‘Atomic Structure / Structural Landscape’

The hybrid has been evolving from a single grand structure into a landscape consisting of these elements. Its based on the radar tower at chernobyl and then rearranged and repeated similar to the idea of digital grotesque. By transformig a base element you can form a more complex grander object or structure with it.
The idea of the structure started with the fascination of the dome in the 1 minute site. there the landscape transformed into a mesh consisting of triangulated shapes, imitating the domes make-up.
I’ve introduced a new form to the structural landscape, It’s no longer just a repeating thing but becomes a recepticle of an amorphous form. It is meant to contrast the regular and straight shapes of the towers surrounding it. Similar to how the chernobyl sarcophagus envelops the old reactor, or how a dockjard receives boats and enables the function of building it or protecting it.
the idea is to see how the outside and inside interact and contrast eachother. What happens if the structures overlap in the drawings? Do they merge with eachother and form something new?
