Design is not only the outcome of research, but often its method as well. In architecture and engineering, knowledge emerges through acts of making, modelling, and representation. This seminar explores how design operates as a research practice across disciplines, identifies where approaches converge or diverge, and aims to open up new perspectives for future research collaborations.
We are pleased to welcome Emmanuel Vercruysse (AA School, London – Hooke Park) as an external guest and lecturer. He will present his inspiring hands-on research developed through making and material experimentation, rooted in the woodlands of Hooke Park in the United Kingdom.
