β¨What could a kiosk be today?β¨
This semester, the master studio worked with the kiosk as a historical and contemporary urban device: a small infrastructure, a point of exchange, a shelter, a display, an interface. Not only an object placed in public space, but a way to test how architecture can mediate between people, rules, materials, uses and atmospheres.
In Oblique Negotiations, conjunctions were explored not only as joints or connectors, but as spatial and conceptual tools: ways to hold together different conditions without making them too smooth.
With RENOVAS as client, and around a site near Place de la Reine in Schaerbeek, students developed research, mappings, drawings, models, 1:1 tests, films, prototypes and a collective built intervention.
π₯π₯Join us for the final exhibition and discover the design process, research, models, drawings, final outcomes β and the kiosk.π₯π₯π₯
Other master studios will also be showing their work at the same time, so there will be even more to discover.π₯π₯π₯
