Too Body To Fail is a crossover seminar at KU Leuven Faculty of Architecture and LUCA School of Arts that brings together approaches from movement practices, performance art and dance. Through a series of workshops, students explore how bodily presence shapes artistic and spatial work, both individually and in relation to others. The course introduces key performance concepts and encourages experimentation with simple practices of embodiment, attention, and collaboration.

The public performance Too Body To Fail shares the outcomes of this process. Developed from studio exercises and experiments in public space, the piece reflects how students have worked with body awareness, group dynamics, and spatial interaction. Students from LUCA School of Arts and KU Leuven Faculty of Architecture will perform on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 9:30 at the KBR Royal Library of Belgium, Mont des Arts 28, Brussels. Led by seminar lecturers Esther Venrooij and Pieterjan Ginckels, the performance offers a concise glimpse into the embodied research carried out over the semester.
