Sofa Talk with Eric Vandezande 18/10

Join us in the sofa talk with Eric Vandezande on Wednesday 18 October 2023, 18:00.

Eric Vandezande is active in several citizen movements in Brussels. Recently he addressed an open letter to the minister-president about unsafety in public space, which instigated the ‘40 Comités’. He was also co-petitioner in the court case launched by ngo Client Earth against the Brussels Region over the right to clean and healthy air. Taking sabbatical break from work in the world of finance, Eric Vandezande joined many struggles in hometown Brussels, such as Pic Nic the Bridge for a better mobility. We will talk with Eric Vandezande about urban activism in Brussels and how it changes the city.

The sofa talk takes place at the bar in the Meurop building, Paleizenstraat 65, 1030 Brussels.

Wednesday 18 October, 18:00.

The sofa talk series is a public conversation about urgent lessons in architecture and Brussels organized by Gideon Boie, Patrick Moyersoen and a group of master students of KU Leuven Faculty of Architecture, Campus Sint-Lucas Brussels.
