Mechthild Stuhlmacher
Mechthild Stuhlmacher, together with Rien Korteknie, runs Korteknie Stuhlmacher Architecten in Rotterdam, a medium-sized architecture firm mainly active in Belgium and the Netherlands. The work of the practice focusses on sustainable strategies for education and culture, mostly within an existing monumental context. She has been a lecturer at Delft University of Technology, holds a position as a guest professor at the Technical University of Berlin and is involved in various research and publication projects. Recent projects include the municipal library ‘Het Predikheren’ in Mechelen and Campus Cadix in Antwerp.
On 1 October 2022, Mechthild will start as a Professor of Practice at our faculty.
