Following the exhibition A.J. LODE JANSSENS – A Balloon Home the book ‘A.J. Lode Janssens – 1.47 mbar‘ was launched at CIVA on 27 January 2022.
This book makes the little-studied Balloon project public for the first time. By publishing previously undisclosed archive material, editors Peter Swinnen and Nikolaus Hirsch, together with the book’s contributors, critically assess Janssens’ uncompromising spatial practice.
