The results of the academic design office (ADO) “Oversize” are extensively published in A+ #292 “Oversize: Adaptive Reuse” (oct-nov 2021). Oversize was a multiuniversity project focusing on the city of Charleroi, with design studios from KU Leuven (students Gala Kenis, Linsday Prat, Sebastien Ronchetti, Dennis Croes), UCLouvain, ULiège, ULB and TU Wien.
The issue of A+ contains a photographic survey by Filip Dujardin of the ongoing works of the transformation of the Palais des Expositions de Charleroi (AM architecten jan de vylder inge vinck – AgwA (Harold Fallon)). This project inspired the ADO, promoted by Harold Fallon (2018-2021) and Sophie Laenen (2020-2021). A+ 292 “Oversize: Adaptive Reuse” also includes the project “Geraard” by Laura Muyldermans + Arian Schelstraete.
