We invite you to join our next GOING PUBLIC (online) lecture #12, part of the Craftsmanship engagement curated by Tomas Ooms:

LIDIA GASPERONI
‘The Practice of Being a Humanist today’

Wednesday 6/05/2020, 17h30
On ZOOM
Everyone is welcome to join the online lecture! We ask for everyone (visitors AND participating students/lecturers of the Faculty of Architecture) to register on https://lidia-gasperoni.eventbrite.nl. The lecture link will then be sent to you by mail.

In the digital and so-called post-humanistic age, in which machines change our craftsmanship of designing space and our embodied cognition, there is still a need of humanism in order to understand our performative and critical share in constituting the environment.

The GOING PUBLIC program of the Faculty of Architecture is a series of lectures, exhibitions and publications organized throughout the year highlighting certain themes and topics that are important within each of the 4+1 Engagements: Urban Cultures, Mediating Tactics, Craftsmanship, Legacy and the Brussels Way.
