This third studio in year two continues the study towards contemporary modes of ‘being at home’ [OPO36]. With this studio we further develop the notion of trans-locating previously domestic events to the public sphere of the city. As such we design dynamic living environments with a great focus on the interaction between public and private space/events. This studio also puts in practice the idea of the interior as a crossing of social situations [OPO25]. As such we study ‘being at home’ as an inevitably social (interactive) space. This studio collaborates with OPO 44.
