Description/Inhoud:
This studio starts off where a former Urban Cultures studio landed. The relocation of an existing train station in the Philippines is the starting point for this studio. The research re-starts with the results of a made proposition. It will further elaborate an architectural proposal for the site.

This studio wants to focus on the design for a new public space adjacent to the train station. It focuses on the importance of public spaces in cities and how these spaces can be generators for change in these cities. The design strategy for this new public space will be viewed as a new public building, with its specific program of requirements, internal logics, constructive performance, flows, materials and spatial qualities.
