Final presentation: Matexi climate design challenge Brussels 11/06

For 15 weeks 30 innovative minds interrogated the genesis of city making through the regenerative design of a tower, with inventive use of fundamental resources; space, materials, water, mobility, energy, food and nature.

4 Fonteinen challenged the students of the KU Leuven Faculty of Architecture with building field M1.
For the first time, the students got to work on plans for an existing building plot.
The approach is special and very interesting. Students were clustered around the themes of Water, Mobility, Material, Space, Food and Nature.
Due to the corona measures, not everything went as planned, but the output is impressive.
The final review will unfortunately not be able to take place live in the Kruitfabriek with an exhibition, but will take place entirely online.
On Thursday 11 June at 2:00 PM, the students proudly present their tower building. Curious? You can follow everything via the following link: https://lnkd.in/edU72DF
