The Pure Talents Contest – one of the most internationally renowned competitions for up-and-coming talented designers – is now accepting entries.
On behalf of Koelnmesse we warmly invite students and alumni to present their creative ideas and innovative concepts at imm cologne 2024, Germany’s biggest interior design trade fair.
The competition is open to students and professionals from all around the world from the fields of product design, interior design, industrial design, scenography, architecture, interior architecture or related disciplines, who are still in education/training or have been working in their field for up to five years.
In 2024, we’re celebrating the 20th edition of the Pure Talents Contest with an exciting new concept. In addition to products (objects), for the first time we’re also looking for interior design concepts (spaces) that present visions of future living spaces.
The revised competition concept will focus on three major themes intended to inspire the entrants:
Lifestyle and home living in cities with limited space
Lifestyle and home living in a circular
Lifestyle and home living as a statement/message/concept
The interior design concepts or spaces should bring the chosen theme to life and depict visions of future living.
A shortlist of twelve nominees will be chosen to present their submissions at imm cologne, of which nine will be products entered in the “Objects” category and three will be interior design installations from the “Spaces” category.
One winner for each of the themes will be selected by the jury and will receive prize money of Euro 1,000.
When the prize-winners are presented, their university and department and the people and companies who have been instrumental in their work are always named as well as a mark of recognition for their valuable support and role in the students’ development.
