Interference
Between the grooves of a crumbling wall, a structure emerges a piece of urban machinery that doesn’t attach itself to the city, but wedges into it. The project forms a hybrid space: a resting place for one, an observatory for many, and a refuge for those with nowhere else to go.
The structure unfolds be-tween functions: offering shelter without ownership, attention without program, rest without enclosure. Composed of steel and textile components, it clings to the scars of the city like an ornament that is also infrastructure.
Through its position between wall and passage, between light and shadow the object invites unplanned encounters. It is a place to look, to wait, to disappear or to appear. A moment of intensity in a passage that usually only knows movement.
