or alternatively:

PAVILIONS

– temporary premised,
in fact often used more permanently,
– reusable from the start,
circular in its premises,

HOW are they conceived?
Pavilions aim to arouse emotions,
incite thoughts,
delight the senses,
and all in a conscious atmosphere.

As a very precise intervention
simple and efficient
with elaborated architectural details.

WHAT must the design comply with?

Pavilions are like meeting places,
offering a programme of events,
that is both demanding and accessible to all.
Pavilions cultivate a singularity to invite you to live an experience.

THE FIRST HALF of this studio:

– analysis of 3 well-considered pavilions,
We meticulously map them,
also in their functionalities.

in building elements – scale 1:1
in isometric projections –    size A2
in an abstract model –    size A2

– how are they constructed & composed,
– which predetermined programs,
– how can they be (re)used,
– which atmosphere.

THE SECOND HALF of the studio:

– design one new pavilion,
one that is family of the 3 analyzed pavilions,

– the pavilion is usually detached,
ìn this design we make it grafted.

– the scale of the (re)designed pavilion:
at least a house large.
