The Market \u2013 The City
\nStreetscape Territories in Merkato Addis Ababa, Ethiopia 2013-2018<\/p>\n

On December 18th, at 5.30pm, we open the Streetscape Territories exhibition on Merkato, Addis Abeba at the Sint-Lucas Brussels Campus (Paleizenstraat 67) through a debate with the title \u201cThe Market, the City\u201d with international guests Helawi Sewnet (ET), Zegeye Cherenet (ET), Gunnar Hartmann (DE) and moderated by Kris Scheerlinck.<\/p>\n

The exhibition is based on five years of conducting design research projects on Merkato (supported by VLIR-UOS, Global Minds KU Leuven and Faculty of Architecture) and curated by Vincent Chukwuemeka<\/a>, Matteo Paracchini<\/a> , Arnout De Schryver<\/a>, Kris Scheerlinck<\/a><\/p>\n

On the same day, a research seminar<\/a> is organised on markets in emerging contexts by the research group \u2018Urban Projects, Collective Spaces & Local Identities\u2019.<\/p>\n
