If you dont like poetry, you can decide not to read any. If you are not interested in theater, you can choose not go see a play. But architeture is literally in your way everywhere you go. In that sense architecture has a granted audience. If we are aware of it ot not, we are all everyday experts of architecture, since we all use buildings and urban spaces every day. Spectacularly oblivious of this luxury, the discourse of architecture is mostly directed to architects and academics. It’s time to strip off the blind-folds of this regressive isolationism and embrace the inhabitable space of architecture and the city as a democratic medium for the production of society.

Sunday 22nd of April

Salon conversation 15h15 – 16h00

16h00 – 17h00

WTC24 (WTC Brussels, Tower 1, Level 24, Koning Albert II-Laan 30, 1000 Brussels)

All practical information and updates in the programme of the ENABLE conference can be found on the website.

Andreas Ruby will be giving the final talk at the ‘Enable Symposium’ (‘Enabling Citizens’), on Sunday 22nd of April.
