    Lerning From FabricAnna PylypenkoThe mute layer of fabric that embraces the beds and the earth is dynamic andsensual. It possesses an honest texture and materiality. The fabric deliberatelyconfuses insects and birds, diffuses the wind, blocks weeds, and regulates the sun.The fabric does not dominate nature and does not dictate obligations to the plants: itdoes not force fruits into a specific shape or alter their size. It acts as a mediatorexisting due to present necessity. It moves with the wind, forms folds, and remainsdynamic, yet temporary. This slow, barely perceptible layer does not oppose the fastrhythm of the farm but becomes an active agent between these processes.Learning from the fabric touches upon the bodily experience. What does it mean tobe covered? What if we imagine ourselves in the place of a tomato, covered by alayer of dense fabric? After all, for the plant, this is not just a barrier, but an alteredreality: diffused light, barely perceptible wind, preserved warmth. Interactionbecomes the main principle: a space that demands the participation of humanhands, attention, and strength. We must feel this microclimate just as the harvestfeels it.The fabric does not pretend to have an eternal existence in space.
