We were dwarfed by its power. But also mesmerised and drawn towards it. But now, nature has been diminished and we have released another kind of sublime. The futuristic industrial sublime. We are surrounded by massive super structures which are our own creation.
In this brutalism architecture, I find Drama, sculpturality, massive monumentality and haptic quality.
Also, the drawings are inspired by the works of Rick Gooding, Louis Kahn, Giuseppe Terragni and Japanese Brutlist Architecture.

One minute site
https://youtu.be/4raA6JlGY24

Project presentation
https://youtu.be/4raA6JlGY24

Book project
project-book_haris

Oxford dictionary defines Brutalism as ‘A Stark of Style’ of functionalist architecture, characterized by the use of steel and concrete in massive blocks.
