Following last week\u2019s talk on activism and the city, Helen joins us to speak on the topic of institutional activism.<\/p>\n<p>As a co-founder of the spatial practice Specs and a teacher at the faculty since 2022, Helen\u2019s work operates at the intersection of architecture, scenography, and urban research. Through her current residency, \u2018Chronografictie,\u2019 she is investigating the role and future of our faculty, specifically how we teach, structure ourselves, and build community within the school.<\/p>\n<p>We will discuss various forms of institutional activism, asking how to drive change from within without \u201cburning bridges.\u201d We will also reflect on the relationship between student and teacher activism. In the transient environment of the university, how can we ensure that both knowledge and concerns are passed down through the years?<\/p>\n<p>When?
