They run the Studio TEd\u2019A arquitectes, based in Mallorca. Their work focuses on local resources, local materials and local typologies.<\/p>\n<p>Both architects combine their professional practice with teaching. They have taught at the University of Stuttgart, at the Fakult\u00e4t f\u00fcr Architektur TU Graz, and also at the TU Munich. At the moment they are teaching at the Kunstakademie in D\u00fcsseldorf.<\/p>\n<p>Their work has recently received different awards, among which stand the Spanish Biennial BEAU XV award in 2021, and the BEAU XIV in 2018, the international FAD award 2018, the interior FAD award 2018, the ECOLA award 2019 or the Brick award 2020. Last year they were one of the studios selected as finalist for the Swiss Award 2020.<\/p>\n<p>They are mainly working in the island of Mallorca, however they also develop other projects abroad, for example at the moment they are working with a school building in Girona and a church in Belgium.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The GOING PUBLIC program of the Faculty of Architecture is a series of lectures, exhibitions and publications organized throughout the year highlighting certain themes and topics that are important within each of the 4+1 Engagements: Urban Cultures, Mediating Tactics, Craftsmanship, Legacy and The Brussels Way. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blog-archkuleuven.be\">http:\/\/www.blog-archkuleuven.be<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tomas Ooms will introduce our next &#8216;Craftsmanship&#8217;\u00a0online lecture: Going Public Lecture series nr. 34 Thursday 14 October, 5.30 pm- 7.00 pm CET Everyone is welcome to join!
