Please join the Zoom session via https:\/\/bit.ly\/karachi-distance<\/a><\/p>\n \u2022 Streets – More Than Just Mobility Networks \u2013 Saeedudin Ahmad \u2013 DAP- NEDUET, Karachi Question \/ Answers and\u00a0Discussion<\/strong><\/p>\n The exhibition\u00a0Karachi From A Distance – A New Perspective<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>organized at the Faculty of Architecture, Campus Brussels by Asiya Sadiq Polack,\u00a0is\u00a0extracting the knowledge\u00a0produced over the\u00a07 cycles of the Karachi\u00a0studio\u00a0and draws out the\u00a0intricacies, complexities, and contextual realities of designing and\u00a0executing\u00a0in fast transforming contexts like Karachi. The exposition aspires to raise\u00a0awareness, sensitize, and add to the knowledge on current and pertinent\u00a0issues\u00a0faced by Asian Mega Cities and will point out the future trends which will\u00a0serve as an important, innovative, and original future reference.\u00a0The\u00a0exposition\u00a0and accompanying book<\/strong><\/a> will add to the archives of the Faculty of\u00a0Architecture – KU Leuven and will support the extension of the existing\u00a0knowledge and\u00a0expertise available on the topic.\u00a0Asiya Sadiq Polack\u00a0is an architect-urbanist-academic, currently a\u00a0PhD scholar and visiting lecturer at KU Leuven and running a practice with\u00a0partner\u00a0Christophe Polack, \u201cCities, Citizens and Spaces\u201d\u00a0which aspires\u00a0for and promotes socially resilient projects engaging; ecology, history, social\u00a0and cultural diversity,\u00a0local identities, and their inherent formal\/informal\u00a0interfaces.<\/p>\n Introduction\u00a0to\u00a0Hyper Transforming Cities\u00a0and Karachi Studios by\u00a0Asiya Sadiq and Martine De Maeseneer Image: Cover Page of the Publication Karachi Expo \u2013 2021<\/p>\n Recording + content below:<\/p>\n
