Prof. Marc Dujardin on Universal Design

Design in all its forms not only makes our lives more beautiful, but also more pleasant and easier. When designers do their utmost to design as widely as possible, this is called inclusive or universal design.

“Universal design is not just about the building itself,” explains Prof. dr. Marc Dujardin. “It’s also about the environment, how you reach a building, how you get inside, how you use and understand it.”
