Op 12 december 2019 wordt het ‘LucAs architectuurboek #2 de Eugeen-Tanja selectie‘ op Campus Sint-Lucas Brussel gelanceerd en worden de winnaars bekend gemaakt van de wedstrijd DE KLEINE GROTE PRIJS TANJA – DE GROTE KLEINE PRIJS EUGEEN.
Ook in Campus Sint-Lucas Gent zal een evenement plaatsvinden op 10 december.
Op beide events zal het Vlaams Architectuurinstituut (VAi) een student book sale organiseren: met je studentenkaart kan je een recent ‘Architectuurboek’ (nr. 11, 12 van 13) kopen voor € 25 (in plaats van € 39,50) en krijg je gratis een tweede publicatie!
*Op 12 december, van 18u00 tot 21u00, organiseert het Vlaams Architectuurinstituut een studentenboekenverkoop in de cafetaria in Campus Sint-Lucas Brussel.
Om 18u30 zullen Bart Hollanders (Eagles of Architecture) en Karen Kesteloot (Studio Bont) een presentatie geven van enkele van hun architectuurtekeningen.
*Op 10 december, van 18u00 tot 21u00, organiseert het Vlaams Architectuurinstituut een studentenboekenverkoop in de pandgang van Campus Sint-Lucas Gent.
Telkens zullen de winnaars bekend gemaakt worden.
Het idee voor deze wedstrijd ontstond toen docent Eugeen Liebaut zijn loopbaan beëindigde, einde 2017. De wedstrijd heeft als doel de creativiteit te promoten en nodigt studenten en docenten van de opleiding architectuur uit om een presentatie van een schoolopdracht in te zenden. Een comité, samengesteld uit architecten en (oud)docenten met een spraakmakende architectuurpraktijk kiest de winnaars en maakt eveneens een selectie uit het ingezonden werk. Het werk van de winnaars en de geselecteerden wordt verzameld in de publicatie.
We willen alle studenten die werk hebben ingezonden bedanken voor hun inzet en enthousiasme!!!

Book Launch / LucAs architecture book – The Eugeen Tanja selection – announcement winners 12/12
On December 12, 2019 the ‘LucAs architecture book # 2 the Eugeen-Tanja selection‘ will be launched on Campus Sint-Lucas Brussels and the winners of the contest THE SMALL BIG PRICE TANJA – THE BIG SMALL PRICE EUGEEN will be announced.
On December 10 a similar event will take place in Campus Sint Lucas Ghent.
On both events the Flanders Architecture Institute (VAi) will organise a student book sale: holders of a student card can buy a recent ‘Flanders Architectural Review’ (N° 11, 12 of 13) for €25 (instead of €39,50) and get a second publicatio for free!

At 6:30 pm Bart Hollanders (Eagles of Architecture) and Karen Kesteloot (Studio Bont) will give a presentation of some of their architectural drawings.

The idea for this competition arose when teacher Eugeen Liebaut ended his career at the end of 2017. The aim of the competition is to promote creativity and invites students and teachers of the architecture programme to submit a presentation of a school assignment. A committee, composed of architects and (former) teachers with high-profile architectural practice, selects the winners and also makes a selection from the submitted work. The work of the winners and the selected work is collected in the publication.
